Alexander R. Ocken

Ever since the summer of my senior year of high school, I have had an interest in the field of biomedical engineering as an incoming freshman at Purdue University. After my first semester at Purdue, I have determined my intention of pursuing an undergraduate biomedical engineering degree, and discovered a minor, the engineering leadership minor, that will set me apart from other engineers at Purdue.

My passion for the biomedical engineering career positions originated from my foundation in my faith and in the love of biology. I want to be able to see the results of my own work in the world. Creating a product or researching the basis for a product to be used to save lives and support life that I can view tangibly affecting the world would be my ideal career.
